Uprising of the Warsaw ghetto is an extremely important moment in the history of humanity. We often have a romantic vision of what we call "HEROES" We tbink of powerful mens armed and wearing uniforms... when the reality is quite different. This is what jews from this neighborhood have remembered us. Heroes are the ones who fight even when there's no hope to succeed because that's what there is to do.
They show the way, they don't survive, they fight ...they die and inspires others to do the same. When facing a regime who walked in fear the fact that a handful a determined person decided to stand up .
Few mens and womens faced the most powerful army in the world, and even if it was for only a brief moment, it had without a doubt an enormous impact on the allies MINDSET.
