WHY NOW? BECAUSE NADIA COMANECCI WAS UNBELIEVABLE...BUT....NELLIE KIM WAS JUST AS IMPRESSIVE AS HER DURING THESE OLYMPICS in 1976. SHE MADE SOMETHING INCREDIBLE THAT WOULD HAVE MADE HER AN IDOL IN ANY OTHER ERAS. AND WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET IT.
Nellie, is still, one of the best gymnasts we ever saw.
She won Gold medals, she had 10's but she was not the first one to do it.....so she's been forgotten by many.
It had nothing to do with her talent..Sometimes, it's just not your turn.
